The aim of the festival is to revive generic and genre traditions connected with the theatre history of Ćeský Krumlov in the performance and interpretation work of top-ranking home and foreign theatre people in the areas as authentic as possible, the places of rich tradition and effective architectonical and urbanistic components.The program presented includes classical performances (chamber opera, balley and dance, movement and physical theatre, marionette theatre etc.) and also improvisation forms for example commedie dell´arte, street and carnical theatre,slapsticks and modern pantomime, new circus with juggling, acrobatics, stilts etc.,site-specific projects and other para -theatre shows of modern theatre and art.The festival also aims to develop a longterm crossborder cooperation - in particular with theatre and art institutions and choruses of neighbouring countries of Austria and Bayern. Similarly the program encompasses EU integration tendencies and professional oversees interests. Professionals and theatre lovers will have the possibility to enter all theatre places in the town for free while their theatre usage will be shown.

Grape harvest has not been the first operette in Studio Ypsilon. In this case it reminds much more of an operette rehearsal for Oscar Nedbal and others to enjoy acting, singing and playing musical instruments. The aim is to play with banality and to make it important.
