At the present time the Regional Museum administers 22 000 registered items of the collection fund, i.e. next to 34 000 objects. The museum library contains a set of 5 000 books, more than 1/5 has a collection character.
Regional Museum is closed by June 2010.

..Historic sight of the Český Krumlov region from prehistoric times to the end of 19th century


Archaeological, artistic, mechanical and ethnographical collections and items of applied arts. Some of the most interesting exhibits are a collection of Gothic sculptures, traditional local costumes, examples of peasant furniture, equipment from the original Jesuit apothecary and a unique detailed ceramic model of the town in a scale of 1 : 200.
