The system ordinarily works like this:The customer arrives at the arrival gate of the chosen car park.On his left handside there is so called arrival stand.After the customer presses the upper push button (which is tinged with green light field) he or she is offered parking ticket.
After the customer takes away the parking ticket, the arrival stand opens and the cutomer arrives at the car park. The customer parks his car on a free parking space. Parking ticket contains magnetic record and cannot get into contact with outer magnetic field(magnets at the speakers, magnetic locks of handbags etc.) to prevent depreciation of the ticket. (In that case the customer would be penalized as if he lossed the ticket). We recommend you to keep the parking ticket by yourselves and pay for parking on return before aproaching the car. In case the customer from whatever reason decides that he will not park at the car park or he will not park longer than 20 minutes,the customer arrives with the parking ticket at the departure stand and after he or she puts the ticket in the relevant gap, the gate activates to open for departure. Otherwise the customer pays for parking in automatic cash register before the end of parking. *.
If you pay at the automatic cash register for the first time, we recommend you to peruse the instructions, which is placed in right upper corner of the cash register, pertinently we recommend you to watch light display located in left upper corner.
When you get to the cash register there is a light target flashing by the spot, where it is necessary to insert parking ticket (you can insert the parking ticket in arbitrary position only the shorter side must be ahead). On the communication display there appears the sum of money to be paid for parking in Czech crowns.Payment can be made in coins or notes which are depicted on the cash register. While inserting the currency the communications display always depicts what sum of money remains to be paid for. In case payment is made in EURO the difference paid appears in Czech crowns.If the parking fee is overpaid, the overpayment is given back in Czech crown. Only the cash register number1 on the car park P1 ( Jelení Garden) the overpayment is settled in Czech banknotes and coins**. In case the customer requires the parking bill, he or she presses during the payment or after it(unless another customer started to pay) the press button "účtenka" (the bill) and after the payment is made the bill for parking is printed in the relevant field.
After the parking fee is paid the customer has to leave the car park in the time limit of 20 minutes. In case the customer exceeds this limit, he or she is appealed by the communications board at the departure stand to pay off the parking fee. The departure comes about like this. The customer inserts the paid ticket to the relevant gap at the departure stand, whereby the departure gate opens at the same time.The ticket is absorbed by the departure stand and the customer is free to leave the car park.
In case of any problem the customer can contact the operator in the car park dispatching. The connection is set in after the press button with the pictogram of the telephone receiver on any active component of the technology (arrival stand, departure stand, automatic cash register)
* with the exception of Pr car park, where in the time from 9:00 till 20:00 the parking fee is paid to the car park personnel
