Guidance system on municipal car parks in the town of Český Krumlov

Four of the largest car parks in Český Krumlov are included in the vehicle guidance system with dynamically changing information about its occupancy .. they are year round permanently operated car parks P1, P2, P3 and seasonal car parks P4.

After the arrival to the city centre the drivers can see the information about existence of the guidance by all main roads:

Then after about 100 metres from this preliminary notice there is a display board with changing information about the occupancy in the positions:

  • VOLNO (OPEN)
  • PLNO (FULL)
  • open position
The boards are arranged like this that the highest position is occupied by the nearest car park from the given spot.

These boards are followed by the boards located before the crossroads with signpost showing the right direction to the chosen car park.

In the distance of 100m before the arrival to the car park gate there is also the board with dynamically changing information about the occupancy of the given car park.
