Works of František Jakub Prokyš
The painter František
Jakub Prokyš left extensive works in Český Krumlov. The
sponsors of his works were mainly Joseph Adam zu
Schwarzenberg and the Krumlov church dignitaries. We thus find
his works in rooms of the Český Krumlov Castle as well as in the
interiors of churches in Český Krumlov and its environs.
The Baroque-Rococo illusory expression of the
paintings of František Jakub Prokyš is the characteristic artistic
feature of the following places:
