Boletice Military Retreat in the Changes of Time

The majority of the Boletice military base has been closed to the civilian population for almost 80 years. The exhibition gives a unique opportunity to get a glimpse into this area and at the same time to get acquainted with the less known and very rich local history.

The intention of the exhibition is to present a little-known part of the Český Krumlov district and its complex history, which is presented from prehistoric times to the present day, as well as the work of the Army of the Czech Republic, the Military Forests and Estates and other entities operating in the district. The central theme is the military history connected with the territory of the current military district since 1938.

Opening hours: Tuesday - Sunday 09:00 - 12:00 / 12:30 - 17:00
Admission: full 60 CZK, discounts 30 CZK, school trips 30 CZK, family admission 100 CZK

The grand opening of the exhibition will take place on Tuesday, 19 March 2024 at 6 pm in the Regional Museum in Český Krumlov, accompanied by music from the Garrison Command Prague.
