Would like to visit Cesky Krumlov for 2 nights, but want to find the best way to depart from Cesky Krumlov to Budapest,Hungary. Can you help with some info. Cesky Krumlov Card-1 entrance card to 4 museums-does this included the guided tours or is there an extra cost & if so, what is price? Can it be purchased in advance of arrival from overseas and mailed ?
Greetings from Cesky Krumlov and thank you for the questions.
Here you can find some suggetions of the shuttle transports which are the easiest: http://www.ckrumlov.info/php/katalog/kpr/sestava_taxi.php?lang=en.
In the four museums there are no guided tours, you just buy the card and then visit them by yourself. In some of them there is an audioguide available and in the Seidel Museum you can take the guided tour but it´s not guaranteed.
You can buy the card in our office or any of the museums.

Visited this delightful city in the month of June. This is a must see city in Czech Republic.
As far as the information center is concerned the staff is really very helpful. We used the internet facility at the center as the Hotel wifi was broken.
A special thank you to the young lady at the information center who helped us book a shuttle to Salzburg at the last moment. Hope my message will be convenyed to her.
Will definitely visit the city once again some time soon.
Thank you once again!

I visited Cesky Krumlov in Sept/Oct and found it a delightful little town. The history has been very well preserved, the people were very warm and friendly. Just loved it!

Wonderful town and castle. We visited in November, so the interior of the castle was closed to visitors for the season, but the outside and tower were available to walk on and around. We had beautiful sunny, fall weather so wondering the streets was really enjoyable. I highly recommend booking a walking tour at the TI. We learned a lot taking the English tour, the guide was perfect at understanding how much information to give without overwhelming us, while she also was answering questions about soviet times and local ice hockey!
Thank you very much for your personal impression. We are glad to hear about your pleasant stay. We hope you will come back any time! Best Regards. Jan Cermak, information centre.

BEAUTIUL TOWN, WITH BAD REPUTATION OF PENSION ULA. VERY UNFAIR AND UNSERIOUS MANNER OF MRS. RANGLOVA. AFTER ARRIVAL AGREED PRICE WAS INCREASED. A STANDARD OF ACCOMMODATION DOES NOT MUCH THE PRICE. POOR SERVICE. DIRTY TOWELS. NOT RECOMMEND!

As an American citizen, I find your information, as well as your town fascinating. My daughter-in-law is from the lineage of the Schwarzenberg Family, through a Julius Schwarzenberg.
Your information regarding your town is very much appreciated!
Dear Mr. Brett,
thank you for your kind words. It´s a plessure for us. Feel free to visit us anytime again.

Hello!. My name is Mónica, and today, 25 of may, sunday, i was in the castle of Cesky Krumlov.
In the ticket office, at 15.45 i asked to the woman who sold the tickets for the full one, and if was possible to visit the tower today, and the museum of the castle tomorrow. First of all she said no, but at the end, as i was going to take only two tickets for the tower she said : ok, are you going to be here tomorrow?, i asked yes, and she sold me two full tickets for 260€. In the ticket of museum she wrote 26.05 op with a pen.
When i went to the main entrance of the castle at 18, i saw that tomorrow the castle is closed, because is monday.
I dont know if everybody in cesky do that, but in my country no. I felt like a fool, and i ll tell all people i know that if they come here, they have to be carefull with people. I don t know as in a village like Cesky, and in the castle, so famous, can be a person who do that. It s a very bath publicity for all of you.
And all that for 60 czk!!!!!!, and what is worst, i could t see it.
Thank you for your attention, the village beautiful, people no.
Dear Ms. Mónica,
In the Cesky Krumlov Castle, there we have more than only one route for our visitors. If I understand correctly to your message, you wanted to visit the Castle Museum and the Tower not the castle interiors.
The Castle Museum and the Tower are open every day from 9:00 till 17:00 o´clock - that means that they are open also on Mondays.
The Castle interiors (first and second route and the Castle Theatre) are open from Tuesday till Sunday.
Unfortunately you mixed up two parts of the castle which have different opening hours.
With the tickets you bought you could have visited the Castle Museum on Monday because it was open.
The ticket to the Museum and to the Tower costs 130,- Kc if you plan to visit both routes together in the same day. If you want to visit only one route a day (Tower or Museum) then the price for the Museum is 100,- Kc and for the Tower 50,- Kc.
So the lady in the box-office wanted to help you and save you 40,- Kc (for two tickets) not to rob you of 60,-(?) Kc!
