Regarding Lisa´s question on how to make a bus seat reservation from Prague to Cesky Krumlov, you can go to the the www.amsbus. cz website an reserve/buy 10/15 days in advance.

Dear Lisa, ticket for the bus from Prague to Cesky Krumlov you can buy at Florenc, Knizeci or Roztyly stations direct in Prague. Ticket from Cesky Krumlov back to Prague you can buy in our office. Unfortunately it´s not possible to make reservation in advance. Thank you for your understanding.

May is perfect time for visiting Český Krumlov :-)
Traditional czech cuisine you can get almost everywhere. We can recommend for example Hospoda Na Louži, Don Julius or Eggenberg brewery restaurant.

on http://www.ckrumlov.info/docs/en/atr203.xml you can find information for the previous years of the Five-Petallerd Rose Celebration. The celebration starts on Friday (June 20th,08) and the main program of the festival takes place on Saturday (firework, celebratory costumed procession...). Sunday is also worth visiting. People wearing traditional clothes are on show during all the celebration.

you can take a train from Budapest to Ceske Budejovice and than by bus or train to Cesky Krumlov. The train schedule you can find on www.jizdnirady.cz

Is there a quicker way to get to Karlovy Vary from CK rather than via Praha?

at the time 21st - 24th of March special Easter tours of the Castle and Chateau Český Krumlov are held. We also recommend you to take a regular tour of the town and Eggenberg Brewery.
