May God bless all of you during your time of need. I had the wonderful pleasure of spending a week in your lovely city during the last week in July. I am deeply saddened to know that these floods have brought hardship on you, whom I found to be some of the most loving people in the world.

Please know that you remain in the thoughts and prayers of many.

We are scheduled to arrive in Chesky Krumlov on the 11th, 12, and 13th of September. We are wondering how badly the town was damaged. We visited the town three years ago and the town and castle was beautiful. Do we go through with our plans or change them to come back in another year? Your comments would be appreciated.

Friends

Here in Sydney, Australia, we look on the ravages caused by the present floods in the Czech Republic with horror. We have twice visited your beautiful town, and now offer you our sympathy in the certain knowledge that the Czech people will once again overcome the present damage and disruption of normal life and will again rebuild, as you have so often in the past after the many ravages which you have endured from wars and the weather.

From across the world we send you our heartfelt good wishes and want you to know that we think of you with affection.
