Český Krumlov Highline Festival 2023

3rd year of a unique international festival of highliners and slackliners

Highline Festival Český Krumlov 2023 – a combination of sports programme and events for the public. One hundred accredited climbers are expected to participate this year, half of them from abroad. There will be 14 differently long and difficult altitude lines ranging from 25 to 235 metres in length, a trick arena and two parallel lines for speedline races will be on display at Svornosti Square, the cultural centre Prádelna will host film screenings.

A new feature of the accompanying programme will be street performers and jugglers. The face and guest of honour of the festival will be the founder of the Slackline Academy Anna Hanuš Kuchařová, who has walked on lines on four continents of the world and has a highline crossing at a height of 1000 metres.

Among the foreign participants will be world record holders Lukas Irmler and Freidrich Kühne. Both are record holders in crossing the longest highline in the world.
