During the one-hour concert, you will hear pieces by well-known composers - J.S. Bach, C. Franck, K. Jenkins, Z. Lukáš, C. Saint-Saëns and others. Baritone David Sobol will perform as a guest of the evening, accompanied by Marcela Pflegerová on piano.
About the Perchta Choir: The mixed choir Perchta from Český Krumlov has been active in the South Bohemia region for many years. The choir has been performing for over 20 years and has changed from a women's choir to a mixed choir. In addition to traditional performances in its home town of Český Krumlov (New Year's and Easter concerts, performances as part of the Krumlov Five-Petalled Rose Festival, Advent and Christmas concerts), the choir has performed in many cities in the Czech Republic and abroad. The choir's repertoire consists mainly of sacred compositions by domestic and foreign composers of various periods, but also folk and non-spiritual songs in arrangements for mixed choir.
