European Heritage Days

European Heritage Days will give you an opportunity to get to know more about significant buildings in the town, their history, and the ways in which they are protected and restored.
As part of the European Heritage Days, the monuments open their exceptional and little-known spaces. Lectures, excursions, guided tours, as well as interesting discussions and meetings with important personalities take place in historical Krumlov. Those interested in history have the opportunity to visit some commonly inaccessible monuments.
European Heritage Days is a europe-wide event dedicated to enlightenment about history and the care of monuments. Every year, they open many interesting and exceptional architectural, archeological and sacral monuments, museums, galleries and other spaces. They have been held in the Czech Republic regularly since 1991, always in the first half of September.
