Combining two completely different genres into one concert programme is not such a novelty. The real experiment is to "sneak" one musical work into another. As a new musical ensemble, cellist Tomáš Jamník and clarinetist Marek Švejkar will present solo compositions that will intertwine, complement, perhaps even interfere with each other. The concert will offer many contrasts. Bach's sublime, almost meditative suites for cello will be complemented by high shrieks, wild tricks and dynamically contrasting passages of the technically demanding clarinet part of Boulez's Domaines. Newly added to the musical line will be the visual play of dance, light and shadow in the movement art of Eliška Kopecká.
