South Bohemian Festival of Children's and Youth Choirs

In addition to the local children´s choirs Medvíďata, Brumlíci, Lentilky, and Diblíci, the festival will feature several guest choirs: Motýli Šumperk, Pueri gaudentes Prague, Children's Choir Sušice, Bystroušek Brno, and the Preparatory Choir of Prague Philharmonic Children's Choir.

This year's edition is dedicated to the 80th anniversary of the end of World War II and the 30th anniversary of the founding of the children´s singing choir Medvíďata from Český Krumlov.

  • 9 May (fri), 16.30 – Brumlíci, Bystroušek Brno and children´s choir Sušice / Jesuit Hall of Hotel Růže
  • 10 May (sat), 11.00 – Medvíďata, Brumlíci and guest choirs / Svornosti Square
  • 10 May (sat), 11.00 – Diblíci, Lentilky, Preparatory Choir of Prague Philharmonic Children´s Choir and Pueri gaudentes Prague / Jesuit Hall of Hotel Růže
  • 10 May (sat), 17.30 – children´s choirs Medvíďata and Brumlíci, guest choirs of the festival Vltavské Cantare and Florida College Chorus / Castle Riding Hall
  • 11 May (sun), 11.00 – Medvíďata and the guest choirs of the Vltava Cantare Festival – a concert of sacred music / Saint Vitus Church
