To mark the 80th anniversary of the arrival of the 12th Tank Brigade in Český Krumlov, the Brewery Garden will be transformed for two days into a living reminder of military history. The "Days of Military History" offer an insight into the army's presence in the Český Krumlov region – from the Second World War to the present-day Czech Armed Forces.
Visitors will learn about the fates of Czechoslovak soldiers, including men from the Český Krumlov area, and get a glimpse of soldiers' everyday life in a period military camp. On display will be historical uniforms, weapons and equipment, as well as British military vehicles, which are less well known in the Czech Republic. Contemporary equipment of the Czech Armed Forces will be on show as well.
