The exhibition depicts the development of border security from the establishment of the Czechoslovak Republic to the entry into the Schengen area.
The history of the border is mainly connected with the people who lived, fought, worked, died or successfully crossed it illegally while fleeing for freedom. Therefore, the exhibition consists mainly of their stories and is supplemented by a number of period photographs.
A rich accompanying programme is planned for visitors as part of the exhibition.

The grand opening of the exhibition will take place on Saturday, 2 March at 2 pm in the Regional Museum in Český Krumlov with the participation of members of military history clubs in period uniforms of border guards.
