His latest CD "A Nice Reminder" was recorded with renowned American musicians at the legendary Sound Emporium studio in Nashville, TN. The upcoming CD also features contributions from the new CHSR member, guitarist and music producer Tomáš Frolík.
Charlie Slavík is a composer, songwriter, and the most respected harmonica player in the Czech Republic. His ability to use the instrument across genres is demonstrated by the numerous recordings on which he has participated as a soloist. He performs with a wide range of domestic and international bands not only in Europe but also in the USA. He also has numerous film music recordings to his credit.
With his new project Charlie Slavík Revue, he aims to bring blues closer to European audiences. Blues in all its shades, uncompromisingly pulsating, in its authentic form and with unbridled energy. Played the way only few can master. He also touches upon the fine boundary between blues and related genres such as soul, swing, and doo-wop.
