The exhibition presents photographs from the late 19th century to the mid-20th century, capturing everyday life, celebrations, work, portraits, landscapes, architecture and lost places of the town and region.
The selection of photographs from the collection of the Museum Fotoatelier Seidel is complemented by authentic objects from the collections of the Regional Museum in Český Krumlov, the Research Library of South Bohemia in České Budějovice and private collections. These artifacts allow visitors to experience the historical context of the photographs in three dimensions and deepen the visual testimony of Seidel's work.
