Live music will complement the programme of the Days with the Army event, which commemorates the 80th anniversary of the arrival of the 12th Tank Brigade in Český Krumlov. Over two evenings, two local bands will perform – the Dixieland group DixieCK and the originally named "Kapela, která nikdy nevystoupí" (The Band That Will Never Play).
- Friday, September 18, 18.00 – DixieCK
This Dixieland band from Český Krumlov focuses mainly on pieces from the early days of jazz and swing. It brings to the programme the rhythms of traditional Dixieland, a musical style with roots in early 20th-century New Orleans. The DixieCK repertoire offers lively, easy-going music that is perfect for listening and dancing alike. - Saturday, September 19, 18.00 – Kapela, která nikdy nevystoupí
Despite its name, this band from Český Krumlov performs regularly. Audiences may know them from local festivities, neighbourhood gatherings and charity events, where their live music helps create an informal, easy-going atmosphere. It has appeared, for instance, at the street music festival "Na dlažbě" (On the Pavement) and at the charity event "Polévka, která pomáhá" (Soup for a Cause).
Both concerts add a musical dimension to the Days with the Army programme and offer a chance to round off a day devoted to military history in a more relaxed atmosphere.
