The ensemble Respiro from Kortrijk in Flanders brings together musicians who are dedicated to early music from the Renaissance and Baroque periods. Since 2008, the ensemble has been inviting people to listen to music from the early period. With their program "Italian Suns" they let the sun shine on the music of the Italian Renaissance and early Baroque. They play well-known and unknown Italian composers with a great deal of Italian flair. The ensemble is led by the enthusiastic conductor Siewald Degraeve.
