To prepare for his master´s concert at the Facultyof Music of the Academy of Performing Arts in Prague, Antonín Procházka has surrounded himself with fellow musicians who are already among the best of the young generation of jazz musicians. Together with them, he now brings a repertoire that consists mainly of his own compositions – these are closest to jazz in genre, but he is not afraid to cross its boundaries towards world music or meditation music. Procházka is particularly interested in African music and its interpretation on ethnic instruments, as well as in the possibilities of music leading to contemplation. You can look forward to a fresh programme with music of many colours.
Together with Antonín Procházka, Jan Jirucha (tbn), Nela Dusová (sax), Jenda Pudlák (pno) and Klára Pudláková (db) will perform.
Antonín Procházka will perform as part of the accompanying programme of the 32nd edition of Krumlov Festival in the Festival zone in the Monastery Garden.
