Chamber Music Academy in Kaplice | Festival Krumlov

The Chamber Music Academy Talent Showcase in a new festival location

When precision and unbridled youth come together. This could also be the subtitle of the chamber concert in the Church of St. Peter and Paul in Kaplice. The scholarship holders of the Academy of Chamber Music (AKH), i.e., the future of the Czech classical music scene, will perform. The Academy of Chamber Music supports young talents from the Czech Republic. It was founded in 2015 by cellist Tomáš Jamník, with an international scope thanks to close cooperation with the German Villa Musica Rheinland-Pfalz Foundation. This allows young musicians to regularly perform on stages all over Europe. They will also have an afternoon chamber concert in Kaplice. They will present a varied programme of chamber works in the Church of Saints Peter and Paul, which makes its festival premiere.

The concert is part of the unique Kaplice Music Day, during which it will be possible to attend three concerts:
Chamber Music Academy in Kaplice, 17:00, Church of St. Peter and Paul, Kaplice
Organ Soirée: Katharina Zauner, 20:00, Church of St. Peter and Paul, Kaplice
Nocturne – breathe deeply: Tomáš Jamník & AKH, 21:30, Municipal Park, Kaplice

Tickets for Kaplice Music Day can be purchased either for the whole trio of events or separately for the concert Nokturno – Breathe Deeply: Tomáš Jamník & AKH.
