Renowned flautist Markéta Stivínová will perform with her string quintet – Luboš Havlák (violin), Jiří Sládek (violin), Jan Mareček (viola), and Rostislav Tvrdík (double bass). Violinist Magdalena Watzko will join them as the evening’s special guest.
The program features works by Johann Sebastian Bach, Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart, Georg Philipp Telemann, Antonio Vivaldi, and Bedřich Smetana.
This concert is a charity event: all proceeds will go toward supporting little Margaretka’s treatment, as she battles the rare condition SMA (spinal muscular atrophy). For more information about the fundraiser, visit www.margaretka.cz.
