BERG: Inuit Legend | Festival Krumlov

A dance and music project Always the Same Story transforms an old Inuit legend into a lively encounter of music and dance

What would the world look like if plants, animals, and humans swapped roles? And what does it actually mean to be "the best creature in the world"? These questions are raised by the dance and music project Always the Same Story, which brings together the talents of choreographer Mirka Eliášová, composer Jana Vöröšová, and the innovative BERG Orchestra. Music, dance, and light are not separate here, but merge into a single pulsating whole, where the boundaries between performers and environment dissolve. The stage is created from found objects, recycled instruments, and improvisation, so each performance takes on a different form. What's more, the audience can become part of the action. They don't just watch, they help shape the soundscape. Always the Same Story is not just a legend about transformation, it is an experience that changes with every movement and every breath.
