1. Hradební Street
The playground at Hradební Street in the very heart of the town is divided into two parts: the one for small children is full of colourful play elements near Retro Café and the one for older children is taking the rest of the garden with elements of the Danish play system “Kompan Galaxy” and a rope-built monkey bar.
2. City Park
Several play elements (swing, carousel, net tower, climbing wall, small playhouse) are located on a generous area in the middle of the city park in the southern meander of the Vltava River. Right next to the playground, there are also new fitness elements for adults – on eight machines you can work out and strengthen your body, while your kids play nearby. In summer, you will definitely appreciate the shade of sturdy trees and snacks with a small beach and access to the river, where you can refresh yourself.
3. Traffic-themed playground at DDM
At the children and youth recreation centre in Linecká Street, you will find a children's traffic-themed playground with traffic lights, signs, pedestrian crossings and other features. Children will have fun on their bikes, trikes and on foot. And don't forget to check out the nearby Schiele garden house.
4. By the Synagogue
Not far from the city park and Schiele's house is the Český Krumlov Synagogue with a café, and parents of young children will especially appreciate the outdoor children's corner with a sandpit and see-saw play elements.
5. Jelení Garden and discgolf
The park at Jelení Garden is the location of a small playground near the norther part of the State Castle and Chateau Český Krumlov. It has four play elements, plenty of greenery and the newest addition is a disc golf park. The Depo restaurant located nearby offers sustenance to both parents and children.
