Vilém Veverka, a leading Czech classical music performer, became the winner of the prestigious Sony Music Foundation competition in 2003 and has since established himself as an internationally respected soloist and chamber musician. In a global context, he has realized the most demanding projects and in many ways has significantly pushed the existing musical criteria to the imaginary limit of "human possibilities". This places him among the most renowned performers in his field globally.
Vilém is a founding member of elite ensembles such as Ensemble Berlin-Prag and PhilHarmonia Octet as well as the progressive "Trans-Fusion" formation Vilém Veverka TRIOplus. As a soloist he has performed with many major orchestras at home, in Europe, America and Asia.
