Young Talents: Klánský & Chopin | Festival Krumlov

The virtuosity of the upcoming generation meets the pedagogical and artistic authority of Ivan Klánský in an inspiring evening

This showcase of exceptionally gifted young musicians will feature four talents from Czechia and Europe. Two laureates of the international television competition Virtuosos and selected participants of the Summer Interpretation Courses in Český Krumlov will perform on one stage. They will perform together with the South Bohemian Philharmonic Orchestra conducted by Jan Talich. The concert will offer a varied program composed of the most interesting moments from competition and study projects and will show how young musicians cope with the transition from pedagogical guidance to professional concert practice. The second half of the program belongs to pianist Ivan Klánský, one of the most respected Czech performers and teachers, who will symbolically connect life experience with youthful enthusiasm in his performance.
