Museum of Torture
A unique exhibition of torture and instruments of torture housed in reconstructed cellars under the town hall on Náměstí svornosti (Unity Square).
What you will see
The exhibition of torture and instruments of torture covers an area of 400 m2, where you can see about 100 exhibits and dozens of period engravings. Wax figures in authentic surroundings lend a mystical atmosphere to the whole exhibition. The unique experience of a tour of the cellar and the entire exhibition is enhanced by sound effects, and especially by two special audio-visual effects (witch burning and an execution by sword).
